If you have asked yourself this question, consider enrolling in the CATT1 study, which is researching a study drug that may help.
We are testing a new treatment to help manage blood sugar levels in people with Type 1 Diabetes. This treatment aims to keep your blood sugar more stable without increasing the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) or high blood acid levels (ketoacidosis).
This study is funded by BreakthroughT1D (former JDRF).
Participants will be divided into three groups. One group will take the new treatment once a day with a placebo. Another group will take the new treatment twice a day. The third group will take a placebo twice a day. A placebo is a pill that does not contain any medicine. This helps us compare the effects of the new treatment.
